In the news today:
The Belfast Telegraph suggest that Scott Parker has a host of clubs chasing his signature following West Ham’s Premiership demise. Parker, who last night was involved with fracas at a London hotel [Grosvenor House] as West Ham ‘celebrated’ their season, will be certain to leave Upton Park this summer after after proving to be the shining light in an otherwise faltering side.
The former Chelsea man is said to favor a move to another London club and is being linked with the Gunners, as well as North London rivals, Spurs. Parker has had spells with Charlton, Chelsea and now West Ham and generally played his most productive football in the capital.
The England international is desperate to keep his place in the national side after ousting the likes of Michael Carrick and Gareth Barry for that regualr starting berth.
