Welcome once again to the weekly betting
blog. This week sees The Arsenal back in Premier League action away at Fulham. Looking
at the odds for the game it seems the bookies make us favourites at around
11/10 with Fulham around 12/5 with the draw at 12/5.
FIRST/LAST
Goalscorer Market-
Olivier Giroud
heads this market at 9/2 and, considering he’s got two in two this season, he
may be worth considering; it however must also be worth noting that other than
his penalty the other night he was very poor.
Theo Walcott
is surely due a goal and can be had at 11/2 with Santi Cazorla available around
8/1.
Lukas
Podolski must be due some game time and the 13/2 looks very tempting, Bacary
Sagna will be playing at centre-half so will presumably be going up for corners,
free kicks etc so 50/1 could be a great price.
Darren Bent and
Dimitar Berbatov both come in around 7/1 with Adel Taarabt at 9/1 and the very
under-rated Bryan Ruiz available around 12/1.
ANYTIME
GOALSCORER Market-
There is
little value in backing likes of Giroud or Theo at 5/4 and 6/4 in this market.
However Podolski 2/1 and Cazorla at 11/4 would give a decent return and give a
“live” 90mins bet as long as they’re on the pitch. Sagna to score anytime is a
very tasty 20/1 though.

ASSIST Market-
Santi
Cazorla heads the betting here and is excellent value I feel at 3/1, Theo is
also 3/1. Last week I mentioned fullback’s when considering this bet. Kieran Gibbs
7/1 with Carl Jenkinson 8/1 both love to bomb on and should be considered in
this market. If possible leave your bets until the team is confirmed as I’d
still back Nacho Monreal at 9/1 if he got the nod ahead of Gibbs.
