I’ve got that feeling, it’s in my bones An Arsenal blog from a coach’s perspective When was the last time that a team won the Premier League when they didn’t deserve to? Man City, 115 charges, I know that’s an answer but for the purposes of the real corrupt world we live in, we know […]
Stunningly unremarkable An Arsenal blog from a coach’s perspective What a fan wants. What a coach wants. What a fan actually wants. I sat there in the cozy corner watching Arsenal v Luton. Feeling a little guilty as I shouted at the TV with Lori just arrived back from Europe. If my wife is not […]
Status change An Arsenal blog from a coach’s perspective Fans spend more time arguing about one thing than anything else in football. Who is the bigger club? Personally, I couldn’t care less. Maybe it’s the coach in me but what I care about is what just happened and what’s happening next. I know that the […]
‘When the chips stood up’ An Arsenal blog from a coach’s perspective Chips confuse me. They’d confuse you if you’d spent half your life in England and half in the States. I actually had a conversation the other day about why Cheetos and Wotsits are trying to be the same thing but because the US […]

I was just watching Villa v Man United after our game. Although United are on a four game winning run and this might not seem like the best time […]
Expectation and the Unexpected An Arsenal blog from a coach’s perspective It’s important to me that what I write is from a place of passion but balanced by the eyes of a neutral. That’s hard to do but important if analysis is going to be good. Max and I got a flavour of how much […]
‘…….. and the monkey got down’ An Arsenal blog from a coach’s perspective I’ve been sitting in the background this week here in Tennessee. Eleven inches of snow and a delightful week off work, getting to watch the arguments spiral into the bad place on social media. From ” we just need any kind of […]
