Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham Forest: The Most Important Match Of The Season?
‘THE MOST IMPORTANT MATCH OF THE SEASON?’ Really? I think so. Why? Unless Emery is stubborn or blind, he was smacked in the face with a handful of potential changes that he could make based on what we all saw. Changes that could swing our season from ‘decent results, poor performances but fall short again’ […]
Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham Forest – The future’s bright – the future is Arsenal? [+ Player Ratings]
The future’s bright – the future is Arsenal? Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham Forest – League Cup review Orange may have morphed into EE – but their old and paraphrased slogan seems applicable here. Old heads like Ozil performed well, but the young and new guns shone. All of this was mixed with our good […]
Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa: Wonderful. Painful. Awful. Vital. [Positive Needs & Hopes]
Wonderful. Painful. Awful. Vital Here’s some facts…. 1) We rarely win when Chelsea, Spurs and Utd lose. We did. 2) We are 3 points ahead of all three of them after 6 games. 3) We played over a half with 10 men and won. 4) From a losing position too. Twice. 5) We are […]
“Wrighty-esque” Eddie cementing his Arsenal future at Leeds [Exclusive Interview]
In October 2017 I wrote about a young Arsenal lion named Eddie Nketiah who came roaring to prominence with the winning goal in the league cup victory for Arsenal against Norwich. Arsenal’s first Europa League game of the campaign will be a welcome distraction from the Premier League. Following the capitulation at Watford, the mood around the Emirates is far from upbeat. The Squad is good enough to get Arsenal back into the Champions League but is the Coach?
After the stagnant and stale management of Arsene Wenger towards the end of his reign, I initially considered the arrival of Unai Emery to be a long overdue breath of fresh air. Even putting his poor early team selections down to him finding his feet and instead choosing to focus on his ability to make […]
After Wenger we wanted a Tinker Man but Emery fast becoming a Stinker Man?
When I was watching Watford batter us during an abysmal second half showing at Vicarage Road, I was heavily reminded by how we played Huddersfield away last season. That game was our first league win on the road in over two months. On the day we went 2-0 up after the first 45 minutes and […]
