Arsenal 2-1 Burnley – PL review
Arsenal 2-1 Burnley PL review – 17th August 2019 Our first home game of the season saw us defeat Burnley and Mr. Dyche in the day’s early kick-off. We started with a 433/4231 formation, with Xhaka and Chambers not in this side, and Luiz making his debut. Ceballos had his first start, though […]
Ozil and Kolasinac “mentally ready” as Arsenal host Burnley at Emirates – Preview
Emirates Stadium – August 17, 2019 Last time out Arsenal won their last game away to Newcastle 1-0, a rare clean sheet on the road after only recording one all of last season. It was a makeshift team with a few first-teamers missing. Youth was also given a chance and there were good performances from […]
Liam, Arsenal and me – A Story never finished, a love undiminished
I wrote this back in February I think, but mainly for myself. I was not ready to publish it or sure if I ever would. Certainly, for the family it was way too soon back then. Now – as we approach the first home match of my first season without my son – seems the […]
Best of the rest: how do Arsenal’s top-four rivals stack up against us?
Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Manchester United – how do the top four rivals compare? So with the PL season upon us, how does Arsenal shape up versus the other top four contenders? I have thought hard about this and my confidence is founded in two things…. Firstly, the club didn’t leave us ‘two or three […]
Super Aubameyang, ‘Henryesque’ leading the Youth by example – Review and Player Ratings
Newcastle United 0-1 Arsenal review Premier League – 11th August 2019 It wasn’t a classic and flowing Arsenal. But it was a winning Arsenal. Spurs, Liverpool and City all won by more, but then we still did well to get the win. Our star forward, for me, played like a prime Thierry Henry […]
Nelson tipped to start for Arsenal v Newcastle United (Preview)
Newcastle United vs. Arsenal preview FIRST PL GAME OF THE SEASON Sunday 11th August 2019 So it’s the first game of the season, and pre-season is done. Some mixed results occurred here, but with a common theme of good attacking play and crap defending. However, the club is in a strong state both […]

As of now fans of all twenty clubs in the premier league can now rest easy (or uneasy depending on your view) with the transfer window officially closing. Moreover, to be honest, where are we all as fans fans happy? Sad? Relieved? Maybe a bit of everything? Either way a new focus is on. […]
