In the news today:
Juventus stopper, Gianluca Buffon has rejected thoughts that he could be set to join Arsenal. The world’s most expensive goalkeeper has spent a decade with the Turin based side and speaking to Sky Sports Italia he has spelled out his intention to stay longer. He said: “Next year I will still be at Juventus.
“I don’t think there is such a possibility of me going to Arsenal. My intentions and that of the club are to continue together.
“It’s been a disappointing season, we missed too many opportunities. Now Europe is the minimum target and is a question of dignity.”
Arsenal remain in a predicament as to whether to buy a new goalkeeper, or stick with the young Wojciech Szczęsny.
