In the news today:
Arsenal have accepted a £4m bid from Galatasaray for their Ivory Coast international, Emmanuel Eboué according to The Guardian.
The 28 year old signed for Arsenal from Belgian side, Beveren in 2005 but was left behind from their Asia tour earlier this month prompting speculation he was set to leave.
That speculation appears all but confirmed as the enforcer supposedly is close to agreeing personal terms with the Turkish giants.
Galatasaray are looking to rebuild their squad following the departures of ex-Premiership stars, Lorik Cana and Harry Kewell following a poor campaign last season.
Eboué though will have to wait for a competitive debut following the Turkish FA’s decision to delay the start of their domestic season following the much talked about match-fixing scandal.
