We’re
on the last leg of the Gunners Town Awards where we reveal the winners of last
week’s revealed awards as chosen by you over the fortnight or so. We’ve given you
our nominations and now it’s time to reveal who and/or what you guys have voted
for.
Today we crown the Home Performance of the Season
award and there were a number of worthy matches that could have taken this
award. In the end, the Gunners Town writers voted for our 5-2 win over
Tottenham Hotspur as their favourite, but it was a close one.
However, 55% of you agreed with us that the North
London derby over the Spuds was our sweetest and best performance at the
Emirates Stadium.
The full results are below as well as a selection
of comments from those who voted.

Agreed the win against Spu*s was sweet but the Norwich City game
was the real eye-opener for the squad. That win instilled belief in the players
that they can grind out results out of nothing. Three goals in the last five
minutes! Absolutely season changing moments!

Spurs win is always a relief!

I had to choose the Spurs game; any win over them brings a
smile to my face.

Would normally pick a win over Spurs as my choice, but in
this game (7-3 win over Newcastle United), we showed our resistance, our
spirit, with a little bit of skill from Theo thrown in for good measure. When
our defence was questionable we showed that our best form of defence is attack.
More of that next season and we’ll be feared. Up the Arsenal!
