Welcome once again to another weekly betting
blog where we attempt to pull the wool over those nasty bookies eyes and make
some cash.
This week
sees the North London Derby which over the past couple of years or so has
become THE derby game which lives up to its billing. The standout bet for me
has to be +4.5 Goals at 7/2, these games rarely end up in anything other than goal
carnage.
Another bet worth considering is a Red card in the
match but at this moment in time I can’t find the odds for this, well worth
checking out on the day of the match though, the same could be said about a
Penalty being awarded in the game, check out the bookies on Match Day for this
bet also.
These games
are usually fast and frenetic affairs and there is a market open on players
scoring a goal in the first ten minutes.
Olivier
Giroud is 14/1, Theo Walcott is 18/1, Santi Cazorla 22/1 with Aaron Ramsey at 33/1.
Roberto
Soldado is 18/1, Nacer Chadli 28/1, Jan Vertonghen 50/1.
Please
remember the above prices are for them to score within first TEN minutes
only!
First/Last
Goalscorer Markets
Giroud is
11/2, Theo (who must be due a goal) is 7/1, Santi 9/1 with Rambo 16/1. I fancy Bacary
Sagna to score a few this season so his odds of 66/1 must be worth a couple of
quid.
Soldado is
also 11/2, Jermain Defoe 8/1, Chadli 9/1, Vertonghen is 20/1.
Anytime
Goalscorer Market
Not much
value in backing Giroud or Soldado here with odds of 6/4, Santi is decent odds
at 3/1 with Sagna a good value 20/1.
Hat-Trick
There are
some HUGE odds here with Giroud 40/1 and Theo a massive 80/1.
Arsenal to
Win from Behind is 15/2 and shouldn’t be ruled out.
Any
Assist Market
Santi is
still great value at 3/1 and I would back him every game at these odds, it
gives you a “live” bet throughout the game whilst he is on the pitch.
Theo is also
3/1 and considering his habit of hogging freekicks and corners could give a bit
of value as well here.
Kieran Gibbs
and Sagna (or whoever plays fullback for The Arsenal) should be considered too
due to fact we like our fullbacks to push on and attack at Home. They can be
backed at 8/1 and 9/1.
This Weeks
Arsenal Bet of The Day is
£5 Santi
Cazorla ANYTIME ASSIST @ 3/1
£5 BOTH
teams to score in BOTH Halves @ 12/1
(Last week’s
Arsenal Bet of the Day was a winner with Santi 3/1 Anytime Assist bet giving a
profit of £10 )
This
Weeks 5 team ACCA
Manchester
City, Brentford, Wolves , Forest Green and Portsmouth pays just under 13/1.
So a £5 Acca
bet on the above gives a return of £69.33
This
Weeks 4 Man Anytime Assist Bet
David Silva,
Matt Jarvis, Santi Cazorla, Coutinho
pays just under 200/1
So a £5 bet
on the above pays £996.67
Assist
Betting Market is with Boylesports.
As ever
please feel free to contact me on Twitter (@yorkshiregunner) to discuss any or
all of the above bets. Never bet with money you can’t afford to lose.
Good luck
and happy betting!

Born in Mining Town of Doncaster in 1973. Supported Arsenal FC thanks to my first footballing hero who was Pat Jennings whom I loved. My first Arsenal Game was an away game at Grimsby Town in January 1986 ( 4-3 win thanks to a Charlie Nicholas Hat-Trick of Free-kicks). I’ve since followed The Arsenal Home, Away & Abroad and my wife still doesn’t know how much I paid for the CL final ticket v Barca!
My All-time Fave’ Arsenal player is probably Dennis Bergkamp although I have soft spots for Tony Adams, Rocky & Steve Williams (!).
I`m a Proud Father of 6 who doesn’t get to as many games as I’d like for financial reasons (6 kids, you do the maths) but lives and breathes The Arsenal.
I write occasional blogs.
