Occasionally on twitter you see something that makes you step back and just say wow!
That happened today when a very talented 17 year old French girl who I had not known previously tweeted me this:
Her name as you will see is Laury Layani and she lives in Paris. She has sketched and painted several portraits of Olivier Giroud and has met him. He is an admirer of her work and has told her so in person and on twitter.
Olivier’s appreciation of her work has inspired LL to produce many more portraits of the current Arsenal squad.
Gunners Town is so impressed that we intend to give LL her own Gallery page on the site so you will be seeing more of her Arsenal related work in the very near future. So standby by for Mesut, Olivier, Arsene and more when we launch the ‘LL Gunner Gallery’
You can check her and some of her work out on twitter if you wish @LauryLayani

Passionate 50+ ST holder who has been making the journey to N5 regularly since the early 1980s – although his first game was in 1976. Always passionate when talking about The Arsenal, Dave decided to send a guest blog to Gunnersphere in the summer of 2011 and has not stopped writing about the Gunners since. He set up up his own site 1 Nil Down 2 One Up which he has now sold and since the summer of 2013 with a friend he launched a new project to offer new and aspiring Arsenal writers a home. Gunners Town is that platform and Dave writes here too. He is also the author of 2 Arsenal related books.
