Welcome back to your weekly blog that tries to put a few quid into your pockets.
The Arsenal welcome a very impressive Southampton in what could be the game of the weekend. Southampton have proved themselves to be a real handful in the Premier League this season with their high energy pressing game. Luckily The Arsenal have had a couple of games against a side who press high and with considerable energy and with better players than the South Coast side possess in Dortmund, hopefully The Arsenal wont be taken aback at their style and can more than match them. With that in mind let’s have a look at some odds for the game.
The bookies make The Arsenal heavy odds on favourites at 8/13 with Southampton at 9/2 with the draw a little under 3/1 at 14/5.
An interesting bet I`ve seen recently is the Correct score group betting which offers 3 chances to get the score right.
Arsenal to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 at 13/8
Arsenal to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 is a tasty 9/2
Big Ollie must be due a goal and is 4/1 to open the scoring, with Rambo a huge 15/2 to score first. It`s always worth a couple of quid on the penalty taker to score first and Arteta if he plays is the man from the spot he can be had at 14/1 to break the deadlock.
Arteta is 5/1 to score at anytime with Rambo an appealing 5/2. If you fancy Per to carry on where he left off against England then 7/1 to score anytime also offers a match long bet that can make you a few quid.
A few scorecasts to bear in mind – Giroud 1st Goal & Arsenal win 3-2 is 85/1
Rambo 1st Goal & Arsenal win 3-2 is 145/1
Arteta 1st Goal & Arsenal to win 3-2 is 260/1
With all that in mind here`s my £10 Arsenal Tip of the Week
£10 Arsenal to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 @ 9/2 returns £55
£10 Team Acca Bet
Hull, West Ham, QPR & Wolves to all win @ 38.25/1 returns £392.54
£10 Player Acca Bet
Suarez, Yaya Toure, Van Penis and Giroud to all score ANYTIME is 23.48/1 and returns £244.80
