An Aussie Gooner’s Plea
G’Day Unai Emery
It’s long time Gooner, Steve
Writing from Australia
With a request, please

A Gooner over 40 years
I’ve seen the highs and lows
Cold Mondays on North Bank
In freezing ice and snow

The joy at Anfield in ‘89
And seasons gone unbeaten
And Adams breaking from the back
To finish off Everton

I’ve been in Oz for 10 years now
A game is rarely missed
And Midnight Sunday morning
Is when I get my kicks
But recently, things have changed
There is no Champions League
Now Monday morning 3am
To watch and have a beer
For Oz Gooners everywhere
Here is my heart felt plea
4th place this year is a must
No more Europa League

My boss is getting really suss
Cos on every Monday mourn
I’m at my desk at 8am
With Red Bull and a yawn
So please Unai, hear our call
You know we’ve got your back
We are so much better than this
And I don’t want to get the sack

Brilliant, You must have written this after work when you were sober.
Only just sober
