The new rule that was implemented at the beginning of the season, is not working out how it is supposed to, Liverpool are livid and are now pushing for it to be changed.
I am off course talking about the ‘PGMOL/Liverpool Added Time Rule’ and it all came to a head at the weekend, when it didn’t work as intended, to Liverpool’s advantage.
After a month of 60 minute+ second halves, giving the Scousers the extra time to get the elusive winning goal, it was Arsenal that benefited over the weekend.
A 98th minute goal by Ex Gonner, Eddie Nketiah, to deservedly give Palace all 3 points against Liverpool

Followed by Gabriel’s 96th winner at St James Park

Slot and Liverpool’s executive team are apparently sending an urgent delegation to EPL headquarters to get the rule rewritten to ensure that only Liverpool, as intended, can benefit from added time.
