Mesut Ozil’s misery at Arsenal has officially ended after the midfielder completed his much-anticipated move to Turkish club Fenerbahce, exactly a week after he traveled to Turkey. The former German international said he will be a “Gunner for life” after sealing his free transfer from the North London club to Fenerbahce, after being reduced to […]
Mesut Özil is gone, we can all move on.When in the mood, he was one of the most creative players in the league, someone whose qualities we could do with at present, but sadly he hasn’t been in the mood for quite some time and now he’s gone.Emile Smith Rowe is in desperate need of […]
The classic rivalry between Arsene Wenger and Alex Ferguson is remembered as one of the key battles of the Premier League era. The war of wits between the two managers and the angry words often exchanged were almost as thrilling as the action on the field. But Ferguson’s retirement in 2013 broke up the rivalry, […]
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is willing to help Nicolas Pepe improve and succeed with his team, having picked out what the Ivorian forward has to do for their upcoming games. In this piece, I provide an in-depth match review, discussing the formations/tactics deployed by Mikel Arteta, a general review of the game followed by highlighting individual performances. Initially, it seemed that the hybrid 3-4-3 would be retained […]
After being knocked out of the Carabao Cup in last night’s dismal display against League Cup bullies, Manchester City, Arteta and his bruised Arsenal team will have to pick themselves and dust themselves off for a brutal festive season and a tough start to 2021. Londoners find themselves in strict lockdown for the foreseeable future, […]
Southampton awaits tonight and the pressure against Mikel Arteta has never been greater in his short stint into football management.
