Red Devilled at Old Trafford… I was not expecting a victory here. But even though we lost, we didn’t lose badly. Overall, it was a good performance, and we probably should have got a draw at least. It was nice to see Wenger being praised by both Sir Alex and his new buddy Mourinho. As […]
Sky Sports: “Arsene, over the past 14 years you’ve have had many battles with Jose. Have you anything to say about him before going into, potentially, your last confrontation?” Arsene: “Some people wrong because they are not strong enough to fight temptation and some are wrong because that do not know” The Current […]
I see ourselves and United as similar clubs in many ways. Both have been definitive in shaping the Premier League as a global sporting brand. Both have had iconic players and managers, in PL history and prior. For every Best, Sir Bobby, Robson, Keane, Schmeichel, Beckham and Cantona, there is a Jennings, O’Leary, Brady, Adams, […]
So as we finally heard the news many Arsenal fans have been longing to hear, Arsene Wenger is leaving, with it, it brings sadness but also excitement of what next and especially who next? In this series of articles I look at some of the favourites, I look into the tactics and players they may […]
Friday 20th April 2018 will be remembered as one of those “where were you when you heard” days. For Arsenal supporters at least. I’m both surprised and unsurprised. It had to happen, but I didn’t anticipate it at this time. Moreover, whilst the latter years were […]
As a child, I had no knowledge of Arsenal Football Club. Spoiled for choice, the allocation of my sporting heart was split between my favorite collegiate and professional baseball, basketball, football, and hockey teams. Playing Fifa in my mid-teens provided the initial exposure, but almost non-existent Premier League media coverage meant I could not become […]
When I joined Twitter almost 4 years ago, it rapidly became my go-to social network. It was a quick way to see what’s happening in the Arsenal world and I’ve rarely missed anything of note since. I thought Arsene Wenger’s resignation would surely be known to me within minutes, such is my dedication to checking […]
18th of October 1997 That is the day it all started for me, my love affair with Arsenal football club. THE Arsenal. I was visiting my Nan and Grandad and I remember walking into their living room and sitting next to my Grandad and looking up at him. His eyes were glued to the […]
