In the news today:
According to caughtoffside.com, Arsene Wenger is ready to give up on his under performing side in a bid to raise a £60m warchest to buy new players. The Frenchman is unhappy with many over his stars and it’s thought that enough is enough, with countryman Gael Clichy the top name on the transfer list.
Other players rumoured to be on their way out of the Emirites include Russian Andrei Arshavin, Emmanuel Eboue, Sebastien Squillaci, Abou Diaby, Manuel Almunia and Tomas Rosicky. It’s said that Danish international Nicklas Bentdner and Marouane Chamakh will be given a final chance to ressurect their ailing Aresenal careers next term.
Thought target to replace the wholesale changes include Everton’s Phil Jagielka who has proved himself on the international stage this season, while team mate Jack Rodwell is thought to be another interest.
