Fabba’s farewell?

In the news today:

It’s being widely reported that Cesc Fàbregas’ thigh injury will see his Arsenal career finish on what can only be described as a bit of a whim. The Gunners’ captain has been a large part of everything good about the club over the last nine years since he signed with the club, but has been ruled out since the 2-1 defeat to Bolton in April.

Arsenal fanatic, Craig Pearce told WTTGT: “I guess if he does go this summer we have had the best part of his career. He will only be going to Barca to sit on the bench so unless we took Xavi or Iniesta in exchange, he’d be better off staying.”

Fàbregas has been linked with a move to Spanish giants, Barcelona, for the best part of 24 months and has openly admitted that he pines for a move back ‘home’ at some point during his career. With Barcelona seemingly destined for world domination over the next decade with the likes of Pedro, Sergio and of course Messi, it would be hard for Cesc to resist such a lure.
