We have received many comments here on WTTGT, some pleading for Wenger to be left alone to do his job, while others demanding the Frenchman’s time at the club is culled.
So, what do you think? A 50/50 vote… should he stay or should he go?

Change from within not a new manager. Having Arsene Wenger is the only thing we have left that is attractive for players to come to Arsenal, our wage structure is a pittance we can't afford huge transfer fees and the only reason we get so many brilliant young players is they know we will develop them through Wenger. Any Arsenal fan that thinks he should go is an idiot, in this current climate we are no longer a big team that can afford big things, we are a mid-level team financially punching above our weight.
He should be left for next season and if he will exted the drought then he MUST leave.
i agree with you completely. But i believe we can afford to get good players but Wenger is refusing to be held to ransom for over priced players. All supposedly arsenal fans should be ashamed of them selves after all its the players who score the goals not the manager.
Some Arsenal fans are there to be laughed off;when tickets raised you are complaining and dont want to buy and you still want to have big names in Arsenal squad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????do you think Arsenal can afford the likes os 38M AGUERO???
The reason why Wenger must stay is because he can do very well with limited players. If another coach arrives, we'll have a problem that he doesn't know how to get te potential of all the c-players to make them b-players. There will be 2 scenarios:
1) he'll buy a lot of new quality players that maybe solve the problems for a short period but we'll have bigger problems later.
2) End up the same way as Lpool did when they fired Benitez. We'll miss out CL and struggle to retain our top 4 status.
Wenger is the right person to coach the team, but he need Dein back to do the negotiation (or another chairman that knows how the business runs).
Replace pat rice with a defensive coach
so what will happen if we get rid of wenger and then its revealed that we havent actually got much money. we will soon be praising wenger for keeping us in the top 4 against all the teams who spend 100+ million.
Just because we have some super rich clubs luring players to their benches for obscene amounts of money that we are not stupid enough to try to compete with, it's no reason to sack the most successful manager in our history.
Now more than ever we should positively support our club. thiose who don't should support Man ure or shiteh or the chavs and what about thios rich russian outfit?
I have voted ' stay' but NOT beyond 2011/12 …… unless things do change.
Look, you AKBs CANNOT use the club’s finances as an excuse for the false prophet Wenger’s transfer policy, why? Because he spent £12m (£12,000,000.00, 150% of Rafael van der Vaart’s transfer fee, 60% of our reported debt repayment for the year) on a 17-year-old who has never played in the Premier League or even the Championship!
I, and the other proud Gooners who want rid of Wenger, know that we do not have the same financial strength as the Manchester clubs and Chelsea, but Wenger is making the wrong signings!!! This is inexcusable! Surely, you AKBs can see it, unless your vision and reasoning is as flawed as our once great manager’s!!!
WENGER OUT!!!
plastic gooners should be careful for what wish for is all i can say
Dan AKA, what are you talking about? When Van Der Vaart was available we had Nasri, Fabregas and a whole host of other players better than him to play in the position he occupies, so your example is ridiculous. We didn't need Van Der Vaart when he was available. Every transfer window is different, you can't compare the business of any other window to this one.
Who's the right player then genius? Name one player of the quality of Van Der Vaart that would actually come to Arsenal, play for less than 100,000 a week, for a low transfer fee, one that is guaranteed to fit into our style of play, one that doesn't drink, has a good track record in the dressing room, doesn't get injured often, doesn't mind joining a team with obvious flaws that aren't being corrected, a team that hasn't won anything for 6 years, a team who's fans are bitter and have an idiotic sense of entitlement and most importantly a player that no other team is interested in.
Arsenal are not an attractive club to play for, only the young potentials want to play for Arsenal because they know they will get the best chance of early first team football and only because Arsene Wenger is our manager. Remove Wenger and you take away the final and biggest incentive that good quality players have to come. He cannot be replaced, there is not one manager i the world that will be as loyal or has the quality to do what he has done under the conditions I have mentioned above.
i cant belive people are even thinking of getting wenger out
i do understand some people coz at the end of the day 7 yes and we aint won anything is not good.
but
wenger is one of the best in the world
lets not forgett what his done for the club
befor wenger we was not one of the best in the world
now look at us new stadium 3rd most valuble in the world.
40 000 waiting for season tickets and lets no forget he has give up trophyes .
we have had to battle with united cheasel and city who
how long have unnited bee around ?
how much have chealse and city spend ?
and we lost to barcelone last season who did win the chamipions league
and most of all we get wenger out who do we bring in ?
and all english man to give a english back bone pleaseeeeeeeeee
just have a bit of hope and trust people
Project youth is finally shattered into the nothing it always was.
One more signing won't change anything.
Top four status at serious risk.
Because wenger has left it so late Udinese has an excellent chance to dump us out of CL, which some might think will be good for our season, it won't, but it will prevent us from signing quality for a while.
I still believe Arsene Wenger is the best Manager for Arsenal Football Club.
But if he (Wenger) doesn't deliver in season 2011/12, then I think we'll need to try someone else!
For those who think he should go, name a good enough replacement that would actually come to manage us.
