In the news today:
Following the arrival of Gervinho earlier this summer, the reported interest in the last few days and statement from Moussa Sow declaring his interest in joining the Gunners, Arsenal are now set to relight their interest in Lille’s Eden Hazard.
The Belgian, 20, has bee a longstanding target of Arsenal and with Wenger armed with the £25m from the Fabregas sale, the Frenchman could be set to make his move.
If Hazard was to join the Premiership, he’d be yet another of the recent Belgian revolution of young talent. Joining Arsenal’s Thomas Vermaelen, Hazard would also accompany new Chelsea signings Romelu Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois and potential new arrival Kevin de Bruyne. Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany is another on an ever expanding list of exported Belgian talent.
Hazard is believed to cost around £20m, but Michel Seydoux, the Lille president is not enthralled by the idea of selling their star man.
Very missleading title, shoud be “Arsenal to move for Hazaed?”
the headline is different from the content, I expected something like” Arsenal has offered a certain amount of cash”. Please next time compare your headline with its content.
Hazard is our answer…
I am pretty sure wenger will make the financial effort to get him.
Apologies
