Arsenal want a load of Kaká

WTTGT Writer: Simon Bourne (Site Editor) – Follow Me

In the news today:

Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Brazilian former World Player of the Year, Kaká’s chances of joining Arsenal.

Only two summers ago, Kaká cost Real Madrid a staggering £56m from AC Milan, but the Brazilian has never really hit it off in Spain.

Metro have also waded in with their own take on the story, printing: ‘He has already been offered to Chelsea, but it now seems that Arsenal is a more likely destination for him.

‘Kaka’s wages would prove a problem for the Gunners, but club officials may be willing to consider breaking their salary structure because of the need to add experience to the squad.

Sky Bet have said they’ve received a ‘steady stream of bets’ on the playmaker joining Arsenal, bringing the odds into 10/1.

Manchester City have also been linked with the Brazilian this summer, and a favourable attribute of the 29 year old is that he already speaks fluent English.

Could he be the replacement for Nasri, sure he leave for the previously mentioned Manchester City?

Is Kaka past his best?

What idiot put money on this one!!! We would't break our wage structure to keep Nasri on of the best young players in the world but we will for a 29 year old- This is Arsenal get real unless you are 16 you are not “super-Quality”

I cannot believe that people think kaka is **** and that is one of the best young players in the world. samir nasri is not fit to clean kak's boots. kaka in the premiership with arsenal is the sort of move that dreams are made.of. it is far better than when bergkamp signed for arsenal as this fella is really a genuine world class player. how many times has that been confirmed? without checking the stats i.cannot remember. but i am telling you now if we could get him and while we are it nick diarra and adebayor from under the noses of spurs and all for around 40m then we should be doing it. while we are it we.should see.if city will put bellamy into the equation as well he would be a fantastic option on the left and would mean we could sell arshavin to that micky mouse.russian outfit meaning that the outlay for these 4 players would be covered by the sale of nasri and arshavin. this would leave us all the cesc eboue and either bendtner or chamakh cash to strengthen the defence. with that sort of money we could buy.a back 4 of.dann cahill mertesacker vertonghen and still have money left over. Ok i know that is 4 centre backs but dann and vertonghen have both played full back and vertonghen can also do a great job as a dm when song and frimpong.leave.for acn.

    dann 7m
    cahill 17m
    mertesacker 6m
    vertonghen 15m
    kaka 30m
    diarra 9m
bellamy & adebayor – part of nasri deal.

mr wenger do this an i will support you till i die.

Even if Kaka is past his best, he will have major plus points for Arsenal. Although i am sceptical to Kaka joining Arsenal, he is without a doubt one of the best creative midfielders in the world, and if the likes of Ramsey, Miyachi, Wilshere, even Nasri if he stays will learn from a superstar. He can also serve as a cover for fab and co. whilst the youngsters learn their trade. Although anything above £25mill (which seems more than likely) would be considered as a bad deal due to his age. His ability/experience is invaluable.
