Mancini’s deadline day looms

WTTGT Writer: Simon Bourne (Site Editor) – Follow Me

In the news today:

Roberto Mancini has made it public knowledge that he hopes to tie up any deal for Samir Nasri in the next 48 hours, or else he will deem the deal extinct.

The Frenchman, who starred in the 0-2 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend, has been linked with a move to Manchester most of the summer and Mancini is keen to see the deal finalised sooner rather than later.

With Arsenal due to play their second leg of the Champions League qualifier this week, Nasri, if he plays, would be cup-tied in Europe and therefore ineligible for City’s Champions League debut this season.

Mancini said: “It’s a big problem (if he plays for Arsenal against Udinese) but I’m sure we can close in 24 hours, maybe 48. For Nasri it will be important he can play in all the Champions League matches.

Following his display this weekend, what are your feelings on the Nasri situation? Should he/will he go?

    Nasri can't lose.

    > If he stays at the Arsenal he will play his best. Then leave on a free next year.

    > Or sign for Man City if he wants.

    > Or sign for Man U instead !
