Today, I want to know if it is OK for an Arsenal fan to have a soft spot for rivals, Tottenham.
Football doesn’t have to be about hating does it? Surely it’s more important for you to support your team than for you to hate another. What is the point of hating a rival? Is there a point? In the cold light of day, it’s sport and while there has to be competitiveness, there doesn’t have to be hatred and intolerance to what is ultimately just people doing what you ar doing – supporting their club.
On the other side of the coin, well of course there is hatred. These rival fans infuriate you with their constant annoyance, their crave to be better than you are, and their persistent threats. They love nothing more than getting one over on you, and you love nothing more than getting one over on them. These are not just people, these are the enemy.
Football is a funny game. We support our clubs because we love football; but we hate our rivals who support their clubs because they love football. So, is it OK sometimes to just take a step back from rivalry and admire what a rival is doing with their club?

May I remind you of the chant that is sung home and away, REGARDLESS of who we are playing “Stand up if you hate Tottenham”
I will never back them in Europe (when they are in it), or the domestic league. Even if they will be doing us a favour by beating a team, it would be a sour victory, as they are scum!
Support? HELL NO. There was a time when they played well under Martin Jeol. I liked that football. But if you say that to some of their fans they get big headed. Like their football but keep it to ourselves or only share it with a supporter who has sense (not many then).
They are our shadow team, they buy players we don't want, go for players that we find and try to play as we play.
Support the Scum…hell no ! Scum will always be scum and i just can't wait for them to move from North London to Stratford
