Can we count on Draxler flying in, in January?

Two quotes from Julian Draxler;

3rd August 2016 – in an interview with Bild,

“The situation with me is that I made it clear to (Wolfsburg head coach) Dieter Hecking after we were knocked out of Euro 2016 in the semi-final that I would like to leave Wolfsburg”

3rd December 2016 – following being booed by the Wolfsburg fans, he reaffirmed his desire to the zee Germans,

“I can understand the fans, though. They have every right to do that. I said in the summer the way I feel and I stand by that.”

Draxler’s offical transfer request has been rejected, but with Wolfsburg floundering in the lower reaches of the Bundesliga and Draxler seaming banished to the bench, is the time right for Wenger to reignite his desire to sign one of Germany’s top talents?

In my humble opinion, yes please.

He would be the final piece to the forward line up.

Plan A –

Draxler would provide a more creative minded option on the left, giving Mezut an extra out ball, the ability to rotate the attack and taking away the need for Alexis to come hunting to find the ball.

Which would give a top class back up, for Plan B

So please Arsene, this could be your parting gift to the team and lead the club to our first title in a decade.

Please Arsene, please.
