If Carlsberg did Mbappe Signing for Arsenal…
So what if ….
Arsenal have learned from previous sluggishness in the Transfer Market
Arsenal have finally done what others do and spoken ‘unofficially’ with the player and agent about the player’s desire to play for Arsenal and the personal terms that were acceptable.
Arsenal had discovered the player was very happy to come to the Arsenal, even with no Champions League football on offer and with the wages on offer.
The player and in fact, his family are all very impressed with and have huge respect for the Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger. They all met him at their house in the summer of 2016.
The player is content to play for Wenger for three or so years, to finish his football education in London, before he then moving onto a Spanish giant once the Frenchman retires.
All that then had to be done was to convince the player’s club, in the Principality that the fee in question did not need to be a World Record one up front.
However, that the deal was structured in such a way, that it could become so over time based on Arsenal appearances and trophies won with the assistance of the player.
What if the player himself, was happy to agitate from within to make sure he could play for Arsenal and Wenger in 2017/18?
Probably the best transfer in the world!
What if…
Passionate fifty-something Arsenal supporter who has been making the journey to N5 regularly since the early 1980s – although his first game was in 1976. Always passionate when talking about The Arsenal, Dave decided to send a guest blog to Gunnersphere in the summer of 2011 and has not stopped writing about the Gunners since.
He set up his own site – 1 Nil Down 2 One Up – in February 2012, which he moved on in 2016 to concentrate on freelance writing and building Gunners Town, which he launched with Paul in 2014.
The objective of GT was to be new and fresh and to give a platform for likeminded passionate Arsenal fans wishing to write about their team. Dave still of course, writes for the site himself and advises the ever-changing writing crew.
If Arsene can get Mbappe to Arsenal that would be his greatest ever signing we would be buzzing!!!!!
Signing Mbappe would be a big boost – the medical might be more thorough than usual
Let’s wait until it happens but if it does then – terrific.
Big signings have a big effect
Bigger than Ronnie Rooke, Mel Charles, George Eastham, Joe Baker, George Graham, Charlie Nicholas
The only one to rival would be Denis but I am getting ahead of myself – many a slip between cup and lip.
Let’s wait
