Spurs 7th and Poch 1st Fired: Arsenal View Season Predictions

Here are my predictions for the season for what it’s worth.

Champions:

Arsenal

Runners up:

Man City

Those two are interchangeable. I’ve gone with heart and the fact that no Europe will be huge for Arsenal in first half of season (assuming Wengy sticks to his promise to play the kids). But in reality it’s probably a City title win.

Third:

Man United

Fourth:

Difficult. Tempted to go Everton. Ok yes, Everton.

Fifth:

Chelsea

Sixth:

Liverpool

Seventh:

Spurs. I don’t think anyone should underestimate how difficult they will find it with literally no home games this season. Been massively overlooked in my opinion. This will be the one and only chance many opposition players get to play at Wembley. Think they will really struggle.

Bottom 3:

Burnley; Brighton; Swansea

Top scorer: Lacazette. Won’t play in europe until at least March. Lukaku a danger but may be rested/suffer dips due to workload. Kane will find things difficult at wembley, but there is always the promise of him banging in 15 goals after March vs teams who have given up.

Player of the Year:

Think one of Xhaka, Pogba, Aguero, Lukaku. I’ll go Xhaka, heart again!!!

Young Player of the Year:

Reiss Nelson. Joking. Leroy Sane no doubt at all.

YPOTY - Leroy Sane

YPOTY – Leroy Sane

Surprise team:

Think Huddersfield and Leicester will finish above expectations this year

Disappointments:

Stoke will nearly go down. Petr Cech will continue on the downgrade. Spurs at Wembley will struggle. Morata has every chance of completely flopping.

Random tips:

Mourinho not to the last the season. Spurs to have a torrid January and maybe Poch to be first manager gone after transfer/wage shenanigans don’t improve. Brighton to be relegated by Xmas (practically).

Poch: first manager out...

Poch: first manager out…

Very Arsenal centric. But what did you expect? It’s August. Ask me again in September and it will be far more balanced I’m sure.

Enjoy the season.

Sometimes Arsenal fans do have some funny moments. But they do not appair to recognize the low level they operating at? Couldn’t expect more higher level of intelligence from them anyway. Sure you are funny, but we have been confronted with this kind of jokes or guesses before.

I didn’t get it at first, I thought this was a serious article lol. Very good.

Did you write this in the school holidays so teacher didn’t see it?

  6. Bob August 11, 2017 at 3:26 pm #

Is this some kind of psychosis between Spurs and Arsenal fans? The moment one finishes above the other the lower ones lose all sense of logic and become completely deluded?

  7. Bob August 11, 2017 at 3:30 pm #

‘Awaiting moderation’ lol. Something tells me someone has a fragile ego and cannot hack an honest opionion of the untreated sewage he is calling an opinion piece.

  8. Barry Trestain August 11, 2017 at 3:31 pm #

Spurs to finish 7th and Arsenal Champions? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

  9. Bob August 11, 2017 at 3:33 pm #

How much of a backlog of abuse must you have building up awaiting moderation. I hope you’ve an afternoon free.

  10. Rob August 11, 2017 at 3:36 pm #

Saving this to come back to next year… stick to your day job as it’s pretty obvious you know nothing about football.

  11. Dvc August 11, 2017 at 3:37 pm #

That must be strong stuff you are drinking. You may need it at the end of the season. Prediction, January avenger out starts again.

  12. Bob August 11, 2017 at 3:41 pm #

You are a fucking idiot who knows less about football than my 9 year old nephew. Honestly. you are fucking thick. Moderate that bitch.

  13. Bob August 11, 2017 at 3:44 pm #

O my god they went through in the end, even the sweary one. Fair play. You are an even bigger fucking idiot.

  14. Robert Reed August 11, 2017 at 4:02 pm #

Spurs one and only chance to go to Wembley? They will be going there like 19 times you retard.
So we’ve got Arsenal winning the league, Arsenal player finishing top scorer, Arsenal player, Xhaka of all people, finishing player of the year. At the same time you’ve got Spurs finishing 7th, Pochettino being sacked and Kane being rubbish just because he’s playing on a bigger pitch (like he only scored at the Lane last season). Then I read that you are a man in your 40’s
Do you know why you are only getting abuse and no Arsenal fans are jumping to your defence, Brad Smith? It’s because you have embarrassed them all.

  15. Bob August 11, 2017 at 4:05 pm #

Even the rest of this page is idiotic. Look to the right and it says supporting Arsenal is ‘a funny old game’…catch phrase of Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves.

  16. Roger G August 11, 2017 at 4:27 pm #

Deep in side we are all with this dream it could well play out, more of us for than against, because we supporters wish this every year,

    • Bob August 11, 2017 at 4:35 pm #

I wish I’m gonna win the lottery and wake up to find Margot Robbie sucking my balls but I don’t go online predicting it is gonna happen. I would look like an imbecile because, ya’ know, it ain’t gonna happen.

    Woolwich twat!

You want predictions? OK City, Spurs, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton. (Depending on who Spurs sign at the end of window, they could do better). Player of the year? Possibly DeBruyne, Alli or Pagba if he finds his feet. Top scorer? Lukaku or Kane. Maybe Lukaku this time. Young player? Gabriel Jesus. Fisrt manager sacked? Fuck knows. Maybe Slaven Bilic if they don’t start well with the players they’ve signed. That’s an unbiased view from a Spurs fan.
