ARSENAL THE COMPLETE RECORD does exactly what it says on the tin. A comprehensive tome painstakingly put together in a Labour of love by Josh James, Mark Andrews and Andy Kelly.
From the iconic Arsenal photographs on the front and back covers, this book is a work of art. The three men who put this together are passionate about getting the the facts and statistics about The Arsenal spot on and they have achieved that with this beautiful record of everything Arsenal.
A classy foreword by Ken Friar is followed by a brief history of the club. Each season is beautifully chronicled with team line-up’s, goal scorers, attendances and so much more. The book covers every era in Arsenal’s rich history. There is a section on Gunners Remembered, which is about all the Arsenal players or staff either killed or injured during the First and Second World Wars.
The Arsenal managers are profiled from the very first Thomas Mitchell to the present Unai Emery. Every players playing record is detailed. The top 50 appearance holders, the top 50 goal scorers, the top 20 clean sheets. All the foreign players and their countries, Arsenal’s players of the year. You name it and it is in there.
This is not just a book for Arsenal connoisseurs however, this book is for every Arsenal fan that has ever had an argument about a certain game, when it was and who scored or who played. The answer is here within these pages at your fingertips. All Arsenal fans I highly recommend you buy a copy of this book, or if you have a relative who’s a Gooner you won’t go far wrong in buying this book for them as a Christmas present. They will be sure to love it as I do.

Started going to Highbury in ’66. Season ticket holder since ’76. Love The Arsenal. Need I say more?
A wonderful book. The part on Arsenal managers is worth getting the book. But the reader has the rest of the book to read and refer to over the years.
