1 – Realistically, at the start of the season, where did you expect Arsenal to finish?
In the words of Zach Galifianakis in The Hangover 2 “not you, not you, not you, not nobody” expected The Arsenal to be challenging for the title. If we had been offered fourth in August, we would have bitten its hand off. And remember, it’s the same people who said we’d finish 4th at best, who are now berating us for our ‘failure’ of finishing second.
2 – Were United, Liverpool, Chelsea or the Spuds ever in a position to ‘bottle’ their title challenge?
In simple terms, Nope. You’ve got to be in it to win in and none of the other ‘top six’ were even at the same track, let alone at the races. As for a certain ‘Red Devil tinted’ pundit’s prediction that “United would finish second”, my sides still hurt.
3 – Did we go unbeaten in London derbies?
Yep, 32 points from a possible 36 in the capital, including doubles over the Chavs and the Spuds for good measure and we matched The Invincibles 26 wins in a season.
4 – Even though we dropped 15 points in our last 8 games, did we still finish 24 points above the Spuds?
Yep, the supposed upgrade, to the supposed greatest Spud team ever (still no trophies ‘arry), finished 24 points behind the youngest Arsenal Premier League team ever.

5 – Will we be the only London club in any European football next season?
Come on guys, it’s all about perspective
As Edu said “Before we celebrated fourth place, today we are frustrated finishing second”
Celebrate the achievements of such a young team.
Know that this team will get better and stronger next season.
Accept the fact that €ity were too good for everyone in Europe this season.
