On this weeks episode of ‘Batsh!t Crazy Arsenal Talk’, we are spotlighting ex-professional footballer-pundits and their blatant non-objectivity. (AKA doing what bosses command.)
John Barnes & Rio Ferdinand both stuck to the ‘throw cr@p at Arsenal and see what sticks’ narrative, with full effect over the weekend.
John Barnes –
Arsenal have to play well to win and if they don’t play well they may not win, and that is why as much as they’re doing well now I still think it’s between Man City and Liverpool.
What the actual fcuk are you on about? That’s a Trump word-salad if I’ve ever heard one.
If Arsenal don’t play well they may not win ???!
If anyone doesn’t play well they may not win. Take off your Anfield-tinted glasses and start making sense.
Remember what happens to Liverpool when they don’t play well, when it matters.
Rio –
‘Arteta would leave Arsenal to join Man United, 100 per cent.
If Man United, in a wild dream said, ‘do you know what, Erik ten Hag, thank you’ and then Man United say top of the list is Arteta. Arteta is going in and saying to the lads, ‘listen guys, it’s been emotional but I’ve got to move, I’ve got to go,’
Again, What the actual fcuk are you smoking?!
Fergie has been faxing out his instructions to Neville and Scholes for a number of years and has obviously now included Rio in the group chat.
It’s possibly the most stupid, Manure-stirring that a Fergieite has ever come up with.
I’d concentrate on your own failings rather than work on trying to undermine a team that’s actually in the hunt for trophies.
