Warm up for Sunday with favourite NLD Videos and Moments
Like most of us, I’m engaged in the North London Derby spirit. I don’t like, nay detest, that lot. They’re not on our level in most – if not all – senses, and they’re not even half the footballing institution that we are. That said, these are some of my favourite NLD moments of the […]
What the ‘So Called’ Experts thinks about the NLD – Worse than Merse is Tim Nice but Dim!
What the “experts’ think about the NLD Ex players, pundits and so called experts all come out of the woodwork on NLD weekend. So what have they had to say: Tim Sherwood has given his view in his combined XI Unbiased as usual, all I have to add is Merson then joined in: Bitter […]
“Better than Zidane?! Not even better than Eriksen.” Özil-haters gonna hate. In defence of Mesut.
In a world of such disunity, with such things as Brexit, Trump or indeed Jose Mourinho, dividing so many, it’s good to know an Arsenal player can unite many to a common cause, that heroic player is Mesut Ozil. A polarising figure among the old school crowd and the romantics, he once again is under […]
A Serious Team, set up to win – Massive strides for superior Arsenal… Positives, Needs and Hopes
Massive strides for superior Arsenal… Positives, Needs and Hopes When you simplify sport you get some gems of ideas!. We are superior to Vorskla. Even our 2/3/4th string. So… what is it we are superior at? If you can figure that out as a coach and get your team to act on it, […]
Vorskla cannot contain Arsenal’s Youngsters in the Ukraine – Match Report and Player Ratings!
FC Vorksla 0-3 Arsenal Europa League Review The kids, and some oldies too, did well in stricken Ukraine. Despite the moving of the venue, due to serious political tensions between Russia and Ukraine, the kids amongst the oldies, did well to get a spectacular win here. Smith-Rowe shone brightly and grabbed an early […]
Arsenal’s Activity in the Window likely to be for Fullbacks not Wingers – Here’s Why (Look ahead to Window Part 2)
To follow on from Part 1 I promised to look at where the limited budget might be spent, if I believe it will not go on the winger most fans feel we want. For me it is increasingly apparent, that for the moment at least, Emery sees the width in this team being provided by […]
Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Holding, Alex Scott – latest news
Arsenal points of interest – 27th Nov. 2018 Should the club sell Mkhitaryan? Whilst many of us are naturally content with the 2-1 win vs. Bournemouth, Mkhitaryan’s performance brought much thinking and musing amongst fans. I’m a fan of the podcast by Gooner Eagle Eye on Youtube and Twitter, in which he features […]
Arsenal gobbles lucky cherries to go 17 undefeated [AFC Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal]
We got a good win at Bournemouth, and my match review prediction was right. But I’m not here to just big myself up. Bournemouth started the game well and had an offside goal ruled out, but the TV cameras showed that it was not offside after all. We possibly got lucky there, but Bournemouth also […]
Kolasinac may not be the best defender at Arsenal but he is the Best Crosser – Arsenal Calm the Rumbling Storm #AFCB1AFC2
Arsenal calm the rumbling storm…. Positives, Needs and Hopes I was trying to figure out (yet again) why games against Bournemouth seem so frantic. Is it the small, compact, noisy stadium? The tight camera angle? Almost seems like a game from the 90’s, end-to-end, vertical and nerve-wracking. Very little control especially in the first […]
Decisions for Emery at Vitality – Mkhi or Iwobi, Sokratis or Mustafi BUT it must be Auba and Laca!!
AFC BOURNEMOUTH VS. ARSENAL PREVIEW We’re heading to the South Coast, and take on Bournemouth. who under Eddie Howe have performed very well this season. They currently are in sixth place – one behind us incidentally – and have continued much of what Howe has been noted for. Quick passing, good technical skills, and […]
