Emery to Arsenal’s Sideshow Matt: “Get your hair cut, young man!”
Get your hair cut, young man Another game at Old Trafford, another Old Trafford non red card. Sideshow Matt… …was breaking away & Fellaini, proving to all that he is the dog we all know he is, and following to Maureen’s script, used any means necessary to stop him. Typically, at Old Trafford, the ref […]
Time for 2 Strikers and Ozil v Huddersfield? – Match Preview
Arsenal vs. Huddersfield Town – Premier League preview We have another instalment of the Herbert Chapman “Derby” – since the great manager had successful spells at both clubs. He won the league three times in a row at Huddersfield and then commenced our great era in the 1930s. Moreover, this fixture has irony […]
Squad on ‘High’ – Arsenal news round-up – 7th Dec. 2018
News round-up – 7th December 2018 Guendouzi or Xhaka Guendouzi was excellent in our 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. I feel he offers more to the team than Xhaka. Now, this isn’t to knock Xhaka. I find he has enhanced a lot this season, as our improved midfield balance is aiding […]
Where does Mesut Ozil fit into Emery’s new Arsenal system?
Where does Ozil fit in the new Arsenal system? Subjectivity is one of the most important things when being a writer or covering sports for any format, sadly certain papers or pundits disagree with that but I think anyone worth their salt will, or should agree. The reason I started with the last statement is, […]
United scores four in a 2-2 Draw – Arsenal leaves Old Trafford with a costly point
Positives, Needs and Hopes Well, those were 4 ridiculous goals! If you’d see the goals only, you wouldn’t think you were watching elite players. The game itself was a true test as Utd (as ever) gave at least 100% effort even if they are a team with no offensive plan. Halfway through the second half […]

Can Emery do what Wenger struggled to do: outsmart Mourinho? Manchester United vs. Arsenal preview
Manchester United vs. Arsenal preview After the glorious win vs. the Scum, we have another rival to play. This time, it’s Manchester United, and a certain Mr. Mourinho, with whom we have an interesting history. Jose hasn’t had the best of times this season. Much has been made of his “third season syndrome”. From […]
Sssssshadenfreude – Ramsey & Co. show just how dire Dier is! #sitdownhesaid
I was delighted by the result against Spurs and especially the manner of the victory. A bonus for me was that one of the Spurs players I cannot stand lived up to his name – and that was Dier. He scored first for them, but after that he spent most of his time chasing shadows […]
Stay in your lane! Arsenal crushes Spurs in pulsating North London Derby
Arsenal were everything …. Positives, Needs and Hopes Energy gives attitude Attitude gives belief Belief gives confidence Confidence gives hope Somebody asked me last week what the major change has been this season. I said, ‘hope.’ If we are losing I have hope that we will turn it around. If we lose I still have […]
