Alex is here to stay. The Frenchman, who had a fairly below-par season last year, is the latest player to state his willingness to stay at the Club, amid speculations about his future. It’s been a few years now that we had players who were staying put while blatantly out of favor, like Kieran Gibbs, Carl […]
Arteta’s revolutionised Arsenal side kicked off their Premier League campaign with a confident 0-3 victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage, with Brazilian debutants Willian and Gabriel putting in impressive performances to get the Gunners off to a fine start. Arsenal’s fast start was signified within the 10 minute mark as Lacazette prodded home from close […]

This was a fine start to the season. Yes, it was only Fulham, and there will be harder tests ahead. All the same, we controlled the game from the off and looked resolute throughout. Despite the changes in the brief close season, with Gabriel and Willian incoming, it was to some extent more […]
When will they notice? POSITIVES, NEEDS and HOPES I get the feeling that the outside world sees Arsenal as ‘an improving team.’ That’s fine. We are. I think we are more than that though. The foundation of my thought is this…. Arsenal won the FA Cup, Community Shield, beat Man Utd, Wolves, Chelsea, […]
Episode 23 “Gunners Town Pub – Fulham 0-3 Arsenal” Chris, Mike, Paul and Gav meet immediately after the game in the Gunners Town (Virtual) Pub to discuss Arsenal’s inspiring season opener. Plenty to discuss regarding the team selection, and obviously lots to be pleased about with new Gunners Willian and Gabriel excelling on their debut. […]

Tomorrow morning, bright and early I will be joining the above walk from The Emirates to Craven Cottage. Nine miles to help the brilliant ‘Walk and Talk MMH’ team help raise awareness of the too often ignored issues with men’s mental health. As my chosen charity ‘Future Men’ highlighted to us the advice to men, […]
Willian as Grealish I don’t think that the first line up of the season is too tricky to guess. It looks like Leno will start after the Martinez move. It’s unlikely that Saliba AND Gabriel start, so with many CB’s out injured/just returning/about to be sold, its highly likely we go with Tierney. The 3-4-3 has been […]
