In the news today:
Everton midfielder, Marouane Fellaini has told Everton that he is craving Champions League football, and he may have to leave Everton to fulfil that ambition. The Belgian, who cost the Toffees £15m two summers ago, has been a big hit on Merseyside with his tough tackling nature and adoring personality.
Fellaini’s hair has been one of the stand out attributes amongst Goodison Park, with fans regularly seen donning a wig in recognition of their star midfielder’s efforts.
The Belgian international told 7sur7: “One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and play in the Champions League. Everton is a team of sub-top.”
The 23 year old would certainly add new shape to the Arsenal midfield, while he’d go down well in the local barbers alongside Song, Sagna and Almunia [should they stay].
He wants to join a club that WINS TROPHIES, obviously that cannot be arsenal!
if there is truth in this story I would say Wenger should get him . he would add a good dimension to Arsenal midfield .He has a good work rate , good positional abilities , good tackling and defensive skills . I also think Wenger should Jack Rodwell , then we can ship Denilson and Rosicky off , bring in these two and surely better quality in midfield . These are good technical players and off a good age .
i have been saying this for months! he would be a perfect signing if cesc leaves. we already have plenty of advanced midfielders capable of doing things especially with gervinho coming in on the wide left. fellaini and song partnership will be all we need to be able to let players like wilshere and nasri to have a much greater effect on the pitch. imagine wilshere in a xavi role!!! please please please be true. i wouldn't mind a double everton swoop either! i'd take jageilka (sp?), baines, rodwell or howard any day of the week!
Hope tuis story has some truth in it as getting fellaini would solidify our midfield and team. Definetaly would put a smile on my face if we got him.
