Blackburn chairman in Samba admission

In the news today:

Blackburn Rovers’ chairman, Anuradha Desai has given one of the clearest indications so far that Arsenal’s move for their defender, Christopher Samba (27) is moving ever closer.

sportsvibe.co.uk believe Desai has said: “I know he [Samba] has an ambition to play for Arsenal but I hope we can keep him for another year at least and prove our own ambition.”

Any move for Samba would likely see the Gunners pay a eight figure sum.

Arsène Wenger is almost certain to bring in some stern defensive options this summer and have been linked with several Premiership players, including Gary Cahill, Scott Dann and Samba respectively.
