In the news today:
Arsenal’s suggested target, Karim Benzema will not be moving to England according to Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho.
The French international has been the subject of several newspaper columns over the summer but as of yet, not bid has been officially recognised, despite a reputed fee of £25m.
Metro report that Mourinho has said that there is ‘no chance’ of the move now happening following their failed pursuits of Neymar and Sergio Aguero.
Elsewhere, another target, Eden Hazard will also not be arriving in north London. His club, Lille told The Daily Star Sunday: “I am not sure he wants to leave anyway.
“He knows his status here and at a large club there is much more uncertainty.”
Hazard himself added recently: “I am still a Lille player at the moment and am not thinking about a transfer. I have plenty of things to learn at my current club.
“I’m a part of the team. I’ve spoken to the manager and I know what I have at Lille.
“There’s a good atmosphere in the squad and I’m surrounded by players who play good football.”
Ok, this is great, Arsene stop going for players that you know you will not sign. Arsenal mustn't sign from the French league. We have South America and other leagues that have wonderful youngster. Plz, close the mouths of the Arsenal critics. Make us great again.
I am tired of the suspense.
