Arsenal:
Thierry Henry is likely to make appearance in Monday’s 3rd round F.A Cup match against Leeds United. The Frenchman was finally given the all clear by current club New York Red Bulls and arrives just in time for Arsenal who are struggling to find attacking players.
The red hot Robin van Persie is likely to be rested and wide-man Gervinho is away on duty at the African Cup of Nations. Fortunately Moroccan striker Maroune Chamakh is available after his departure to the aforementioned cup has been delayed.
Yet Arsenal will still be without the suspended Johan Djourou, who was sent off at Fulham, whilst Kieran Gibbs (groin), Thomas Vermaelen (calf), Bacary Sagna (ankle), Carl Jenkinson (back), Andre Santos (ankle), Abou Diaby (hamstring) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) are all out.
Leeds United:
Leeds still has defender Patrick Kisnorbo and midfielders Snodgrass and Howsen out through injury, whilst Tom Lees and Alex Bruce (who was impressive in their match with Arsenal this time last season) are doubtful.
