Thierry Henry: class is permenant (Video)

Everybody remembers that car advert Thierry Henry did which sparked the va va voom craze, right?

It was a pretty good piece of advertising on the part of whatever make of car it was but also at a time when Henry was at the height of his powers and when Arsenal were really bloody good.

It’s hard to remember, I know, but for some time Arsene Wenger’s teams were consistently among the best, if not the best, in Europe and Henry was the focal point of that.

His charisma, style and energy personified Wenger’s teams of the early to mid 2000s and he was also quite handy when they needed a goal or two.

Henry broke records and scored loads of brilliant goals during his time in the Premier League before moving to Barcelona. The Frenchman is currently seeing off his career in the States where he plays for the New York Red Bulls in the MLS.

As was evident from his return to Arsenal last season, his pace may have diminished somewhat but the class and touch is still there.

Here is one of his best efforts from his time in America, showing off some of that vintage va va voom.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Henry is a prime example of this little saying. I wonder when he'll come back to Arsenal in a coaching capacity, which I'm 100% confident he will, whether it be Manager, or striker coach. He loves Arsenal and Arsenal forever loves him. See you soon Henry.
