Nicklas Bendtner demands 70k a week, but receives an ode from Arsenal

Still Expecting Cheques His Talent Can’t Cash!

Britain Soccer Premier League

Oh Nicklas, oh Nicklas,

Oh wow, you really are ridiculous,

All the talent you began to show,

Disappeared behind your huge ego,

Nicklas Bendtner 18

You stayed at Arsenal way too long,

Expecting a big deal to come along,

And take you away, because in your mind,

You’re the greatest striker we would find,

Nicklas Bendtner 19

You dropped you pants for Paddy Power,

£90 grand! An expensive howler,

You were loaned to Juve, what a joke,

Your ego kicked in and it went up in smoke,

Nicklas Bendtner 06

Then Eintracht Frankfurt, came a calling,

When talking contracts, you started stalling,

Your services would cost £40K a week,

And then, per point, £30 grand more you did seek,

Nicklas Bendtner 20

At this rate you will be on the scrap heap,

Or back in Denmark, playing on the cheap,

Either way, you’ll whinge and be bitter,

And look a twat with your posts on Twitter.

TheSundayMorningGooner; the ego has left the building 😉

Appreciate the sentiment but the song is so terrible.

I kind of benefit do you get in writing about a player we release. Dont you have something constructive to write about?

He can demand any thing I don’t understand the source of your concern

We gave about 10 plus articles a week on Gunners Town. Some are tactical, some are speculative and done are just plain fun. This was a fun one and should be recognised as that, pure and simple.
