Arsenal’s signing of Edinson Cavani or Sami Khedira all DEPENDS on one of THREE people

The Power of Three

So, it’s Tuesday 26th August and the bloody annoying transfer window finally shuts at 11pm on 1st September. I have come to the conclusion that, who, if and when we sign someone, it could be out of Arsenal’s control and in the unlikely hands of the following three individuals:

1 – Slaven Bilic

2 – Jean-Marc Bosman

3 – Jennifer Giroud

Power of three

Slaven Bilic: could determine whether or not we sign Sami Khedira or Alex Song, William Carvalho or Cheick Tiote. The calibre of any possible defensive midfielder we sign before September 1st could be based on which league we are in on Thursday, Champions or Europa?

Jean-Marc Bosman: is Arsene Wenger, again, playing the last minute throw of the dice and banking on Real selling Khedira at a bargain bucket price on the last day, knowing that if they don’t sell him this window, he goes on a Bosman next summer?

Jennifer Giroud: could Mrs Giroud get her wish and to lead Olivier not into temptation and deliver him back to France, opening the outrageous possibility of a swap plus deal for Edinson Cavani or Radamel Falcao?

Could it be down to The power of Three?

Or will Arsene bank the cash and let it be?

Wenger not

I suppose we will know in the next 168 hours, or so!

Steve Wellman
