Has Gazidis bottled it?

“We lived through many emotions together, the highs and the lows of football, and I am proud to be able to say that I gave this club and its fantastic people everything that I had in me.”

Phhhh, Gazidis has gone, oh well, to be honest, I’m not that bothered.

10 years in charge and well what did he really do? I mean, apart from getting busy with the fizzy in the last 24 months, what did he do in the preceding 8 years? He was just grey, there, towing the party line, doing what he needed to to keep his job. Nothing spectacular, just being beige.

He appointed Sven Mislintat,  Raul Sanllehi and Darren Burgess, he oversaw Wenger’s departure and then he suddenly had the power. But once he was the man where the buck stopped, he jumped ship, he ran, he bottled it.

Good job, Ivan

So Ivan, thanks for nothing.

I for one won’t mourn your departure.

Short, sharp and to the point! It makes you wonder how such a grey man could provoke your article.

Just a pity that when we needed action men he blended into the background.
