It’s been a while Hi people, long time no write. I will confess that it wasn’t for football related stress that I took a break for a while, more so the endless tit for tat on Twitter, endless fighting over fuck all, bitching and overall nastiness that was hanging over the place during the […]
Meeting an Arsenal player is a privilege I received on this merry month of May. I was invited in London with few bloggers to meet Olivier Giroud, for the launching of the new Puma “Strikes” boots. But far from a commercial scripted meeting, it was a nice afternoon where we chatted a lot with the […]
The Gunners have not one, but two FA Cup finals to look forward to over the next few weeks, following a remarkable 5-3 win for the Arsenal Ladies over the Chelsea Ladies at Woking’s Kingfield Stadium over the weekend. (Highlights here and photo gallery here.) While the men eye glory this weekend for the club’s […]
An Invitation to an eye-opening… By @JokmanAFC I compiled my latest blog yesterday regarding Jack Wilshere and transfer rumour-mongers. I sat back and reflected on a half-decent job and set about disseminating my word-seed to as many twatters as I could. People who follow me will tell you it is a common sight for my […]
Football is about opinions. My opinion is you are wrong, and I am right. Not really. But seriously, and I’m being more serious than a Kristen Stewart moody red carpet pout, I’ve seen people suggest that Jack Wilshere is overrated and that opinion is one I can’t agree with. Your upgrade from Premier League manager 4.0 could not be completed, do you wish to restart the download Y/N. The Arsenal mainframe met the minimum system requirements of Premier League Manager by securing fourth and Champions League football for 2014/2015. But, again, this wasn’t enough to enable an upgrade from Version 4.0 and we will […]
So that’s that. The Premier League season is over, and we now have just an FA Cup final to attend before a summer of unbearable transfer speculation, moaning supporters and #ITKs. Following yesterday’s news regarding Diego Costa and Josip Drmic, it’s appears to have already started. Oh the joy. We wrapped up the league campaign […]
Crikey! The season’s almost up…where did the time go?! Have we all enjoyed it? You know, the sight of Mesut Ozil wearing the red and white, passing the ball into space that only those in the nose-bleed seats can see, or have you found that this season has been yet another example of Ground-hog-Day, you […]
It’s not just the men’s camp that is happy with their crucial recent wins. After a battling 1-1 versus Notts County in the opener of the Women’s Super League, Shelley Kerr’s team seem to be settling down and finding their rhythm as they turned their attention towards the domestic cup competitions. Arsenal Ladies had to […]
It’s been quite a while since my last post, but today I’m back with a new edition of Doppelpass. I want to take the opportunity to look back at the past few weeks and focus on the form of Lukas Podolski and his future at the club. Lukas has always been a fan favourite. Right […]
