Emmanuel Frimpong promised much last season but injury hampered his breakthrough year. As he prepares this summer it appears he has taken it upon himself to document the club’s pre-season.
In acknowledgement of his hard work this week we have a ‘Frimpong special’ Taking the Tweets:

Much has been said of Arsenal’s exciting Japanese prospect. Ryo Miyaichi this summer, but Emmanuel Frimpong appears to have caught a skill on camera previously missed by his many youtube videos!
Let’s hope Ryo was just showing Frimpong his best Bruce Lee impression and this wasn’t his reaction to his first experience of the great British fish and chips.

While it is never a bad thing to see the lads having a good time, with squad harmony seen as such a vital ingredient of success, one smile in particular is sure to please all fans.
If you believed the British media you would think Samir Nasri was prepared to jump off a bridge before he would be seen in an Arsenal shirt again.
However, he appears to be quite content in this picture alongside Alex Song, Armand Traoré, and Marouane Chamakh, as pointed out by photographer Frimpong: “Happy Team @Arsenal departing now”.

Finally, Emmanuel Frimpong has made a promise that excites us here at Taking the Tweets tremendously:
“Gna get Ryo Miyaichi on Twitter this week seems to have loads of fans. Let’s hope he don’t write in Japanese,” he said.
While I am inclined to agree that Tweeting in Japanese would not be hugely helpful, judging by that picture Ryo is a man well worth hearing more from!
