Arsenal’s Danish striker, Nicklas Bentdner, 23, has just about finalised his move to Portuguese side, Sporting Lisbon.
It is thought that the fee will be set around the £9m mark and the deal will go through early next week.
The Dane has never really adhered himself to the Arsenal fans after one too many egotistical outbursts. However, Sporting appear ready to offer Bentdner the chance to show his worth in Portugal.
Following the arrival of Gervinho, chances were to be even more limited for the striker and therefore his Arsenal career appears to have run its course.
