Games without frontiers: Gabriel gets a makeover

Jeux sans frontieres

Just heard this absolute tune the other day and it inspired me.
A bit of light relief in the off season maelstrom!!

Song by Peter Gabriel
Words by Wellmo

Kos plays it to Santi, Santi plays it to Xhak
Elneny, then to Rambo and then Xhaka gets it back
Granit forward to Ozil and then the skills begin
Alexis, onto Giroud, if we’ve not got anyone in !!!!

Whistling tunes on Saturday afternoons in the North Bank
Whistling tunes and mocking the loons up at Tottenham
Oh just mind the gap!!

Spend £50 mill? We probably never will?
Our worst season in years, but we’re still above Spurs
Our worst season in years, but we’re still above Spurs

BFG as captain, as Arteta joined City
To coach the Arsenal B team, with our old friend Paddy
Wenger in the market, playing silly games
Let’s hope he pulls his finger out and signs up a big name

Well Steve, even if this is a dig at Wenger and board about transfers and what they spend, I applaud you for doing it in a refreshing and highly creative way. It’s better than the usual turgid drivel. Did you watch h lens game what did you think considering its first warm up game and lens are a lot further ahead in their preparations. For me bielek reine Adelaide oxlaide chamberlain iwobi gnarbry and zelalem impressed as did Matt macey and Campbell I think we will probably see zelalem willock and bielek in cup competitions maybe even gnarbry. It looked dour but I think being first pre season games are always same. I thought in last ten minutes we began to look better and stronger. I do have a concern for Theo that if he doesn’t Buck his ideas up he will quickly become redundant in this team with other options highlighting their talents better than he did.

    Cheers mate
I am a Wenger supporter, just get frustrated with the fannying around we do in the transfer market, whilst everyone just gets on with it. I know we don’t want to pay over the odds but sometimes you just have to suck it up.

Watched the highlights (4am kick off here) first half was a bit ropey, second have much better, the youngsters & Ox showed there skills & metal

Losing faith & patience with Theo, if we sign a winger (Mahrez latest link) and a striker, he’s gone, just doesn’t cut the mustard and paid a lot not to produce
