He is so Good that Sead ‘The Beast’ Kolasinac should Partner Xhaka in Midfield

Well it was an interesting start to the season.

Our defensive frailties seem to still be there, but to be fair, it was probably our 2nd choice back 3 and Cech didn’t bask himself in glory by going walkabout for two of the goals. Similar to last year’s start really.

Lacazzette showed why we paid £45m for him and showed how you can impact the team with your first touch in open play in the Premiership. His movement and link up play offers the Plan A to Giroud’s Plan B.

Talking of Giroud, it looks like he is going to have to get used to the role of Super-Sub, which hopefully he will embrace, as his role off the bench will be invaluable throughout the season.

He has always been quality; the tabloids just did not give him a season to bed in, as they have given to Pogba and the other big signings in the top six.

Ozil showed flashes of brilliance, but seemed to miss Alexis’s sixth sense to anticipate his deft touches.

With 2 weeks to go until the window shuts until the snow arrives, The Arsenal are still looking to off load a number of players, the usual suspects being, Perez, Debuchy, Jenks and Gibbs.

Reprieve for Gibbo?

However, I am suggesting a reprieve for Gibbs and keep him as Nacho’s cover.

What about Kolasinac I hear you ask, well, my proposal there is to move him to centre midfield to play alongside Granit. He is a beast at the back, he is a beast at wingback and by my reckoning could be a beast in the middle, providing extra cover to the back 3 and support to the front line.

For years Gooners have asked for a Beast in Centre Midfield – Perhaps we already have him???
