It makes a pleasant change to be discussing Arsenal’s completed transfer business early in the window, with three signings already in the bag, and several more being hotly tipped. Certainly, with an earlier start to the 22/23 campaign due to the World Cup in the autumn, we fans will hope the club can finalize […]
It’s that’s time of year, it’s mid June, the transfer window is open and the Magic Roundabout is here again. Dougal wakes up and proclaims to the world “The Arsenal will sign Jesus tomorrow. He is on a plane back from Brazil as we speak. His medical is this afternoon, he will be announced to […]
I think it’s fair to say that most Arsenal fans ended last season somewhat disappointed, having thrown away our chance to finish in the Champions League positions. We certainly shared in that disappointment, but looking back, finishing 5th was something we would certainly have taken at the beginning of last season. On top of this, […]
The Season before the Season An end of season review and glimpse into 22/23 I’ve been on pause waiting to write this end of season review for a few weeks now. I wanted it to encapsulate how I felt about the season and what I think is fair and right to state but needed to […]

The morning after the night before is usually a phrase related to having consumed a tad too much alcohol, but most Arsenal fans will relate today, whether they drank through Thursday night’s disappointment or not. Arsenal needed a win at the home of their fierce local rivals to secure Champion’s League football, and as we […]
North London Derbies are bad enough without having all this extra drama piled on. After the worst start to a Premier League season in 67 years, this young Arsenal team and their novice manager are positioned to achieve what NO – literally NOT ONE – critic predicted at the start of the season… even before […]
Lucozade and lemon drops I always try to base my opening piece on what I think is the general feeling coming out of the game. The general feeling coming out of that game for me and most I think, was that yet again I soiled my britches and I feel like Arsenal need to give […]
Not fun, don’t care Positives, Needs and Hopes Well, actually I did care during the game. I didn’t necessarily need to be entertained but I did need to feel like we were trying to win. So, let’s get the honesty out of the way. During the games I make copious notes. I make columns based […]
