Merci Arsene – Gunners Town Writers Tribute to the ‘Only One Arsene Wenger’
So here we are one day on from the news that Wenger is stepping down from his role as Manager of Arsenal Football Club, after 22 years at the helm. We are unlikely to see such a tenure again in the modern game and arguably nor should we. Today is not the day for scoring […]
Thanks for making the right decision for The Arsenal and thank you for the Great Memories
I am writing this after hearing the bombshell news of Arsene Wenger stepping down as Arsenal manager at the end of the season. I do not know if it was his decision or if the club pushed him into it but either way, what is important is it is the best decision for both Arsene […]
Why are we poor away from home???!
Why are we poor away from home? For me, it’s a no-brainer. There has been much understandable and legitimate debate amongst fans about this, and for me, it just stems from our tactical and psychological weaknesses. Surroundings Our overall record at home is strong. I do not have exact stats to hand but I’d […]
A New Wenger Protest Idea that might really make Stan take notice – #Turnaround
Here is my idea…. As reported by Jeremy Wilson this week, the board are considering the fans apathy as part of the reason for a coaching change. If true, the fans do have a voice. If true, then Gazidis’ words in 2011 may be real… “Arsene is ultimately accountable to the fans; […]
3 Replacements for Arsène Wenger- Who should Arsenal be looking at?
Arsène Wenger and Arsenal have endured another dismal season domestically, finding themselves over 10 points off the top four and over 30 points off the league leaders Manchester City, this has led to banners, protests and empty seats and many fans are just simply fed up and want change. Fickle Wenger Ins, Mustafi an Accident waiting to happen and If you can’t defend you will lose more than you win
I have wanted Arsene replaced as our manager since the year 2011, with the 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford that year, being the final straw. In the years that have followed, my opinion on Wenger and his position has not wavered and neither has my support for the club. Yet it is those of us […]

This does not feel like the atmosphere of a team who have just lost, which […]

The Worst What If … The Four Horsemen of the Arsenal Apocalypse!!
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Sunday 6th May Arsenal 1 -Burnley 2 Burnley take over final Europa League spot, leaving Wenger’s EPL European destiny out of his control. “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode […]
No Excuses left Wenger – You are killing my club and my passion for it. Please leave
It is nothing-personal Arsene. I will always appreciate everything you have achieved for Arsenal Football Club, which is considerable, winning more trophies than any previous Arsenal manager has done. Nevertheless, it really is time you handed over the reins to somebody else. It sounds like Arsene Wenger in no mood to relinquish his job next […]
