All is not doom and gloom at Arsenal: a smidgeon of good news…
As we all know, things aren’t well with us at the moment, particularly when it comes to the league. However, thinking positively, we still have the Europa cup to play for, and the possibility of a Champions League spot using the Chelsea/United backdoor. With the first knock-out round kicking off at AC Milan’s San Siro […]
As Anger turns to Apathy is the ‘Long Wait’ for Arsenal without Wenger nearly over?
WE WAIT The one thing you cannot accuse any Arsenal fan of is impatience. I told a friend that I am an Arsenal fan and the first thing she said was that “I guess you are used to heartbreaks then”. I think that is the narrative among non-Arsenal football fans. But the reality is that […]
Nietszche On Wenger: (Nietszche Knows Best!)
Nietzsche Knows Best Arsene arrived at Arsenal on 1st October 1996, under a blaze of overwhelming mockery. The press didn’t know him, the fans didn’t know him and the players didn’t know him. Tony Adams summed up the general consensus: “At first, I thought, What does this Frenchman know about football? He wears glasses and […]
Brighton 2-1 Arsenal: Gunners Slide on the Seaside
Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 Arsenal Premier League Matchday 29 Amex Stadium It’s more negativity here. Since we lost away. Again. We actually started off well, at least within the first 10 minutes or so. We had some chances via Ozil and Wilshere, but then we conceded a soft goal from a set piece. The […]
Can the Gunners get out of their slump, or are we in for another disappointment? – Brighton preview
We visit Brighton today as the search for some semblance of form goes on. I have to admit it’s been quite a while since I’ve felt this down before writing a preview. Possibly it compares to the events of 2016, when, after beating Leicester, we went on to lose to United and and Swansea. Right […]

Despondency: low spirits from loss of hope or courage; dejection The team appears to have given up, no drive, no commitment and worst of all no pride. Disarray: a state of disorganization or untidiness The team appears to have no idea, no […]
Worst. Season. Ever. How Wenger’s swansong season will end, and it isn’t pretty.
At present, we are lying 6th in the Premier League table with 45 points, 8 points behind Chelsea and 12 points behind Tottenham in 4th. We are a remarkable 30 points behind league leaders Manchester City, who put us to the sword for the second time in a week at the Emirates last night, having […]
Were were really that bad v City? Or were there signs of improvement – Honest Player Ratings
I have just read Batmandela`s beautiful article ” Arsenal in Crisis – Yes”. I recommend that you read it dear reader. I was going to write a review of last night`s match which was not going to be particularly harsh on our players, when I read the above article. By the time I had finished […]
Arsenal battered again, but no one seems willing or capable of throwing in the towel: #AFC0MCFC3
You know that when half the fanbase is hoping for the game to be called off for whatever reason, while the other half is plotting to stay at home despite having the tickets, the footballing aspect of your team must be in dire state. And so it is, abundantly demonstrated by the game yesterday. Shortly […]
Arsenal in Crisis? Yes.
Arsenal in Crisis? On Crisis Firstly – let me say that crisis in and of itself is not a bad thing. Things fall apart all the time; Chaos is the natural order of our Universe. The word itself comes from the Greek word krisis (to decide). The Oxford dictionary defines crisis as: A time of […]
