Considering the fact I am the Gunners Town resident Mesut Ozil fanboy, I felt it only right that I said something about the greatest news I’ve heard since I was informed of sliced bread. The news I speak of is that Mesut Ozil has finally signed a contract extension with Arsenal, reportedly he signs until […]
When Robin van Persie left Arsenal in 2012, I made a promise to never have a favourite Arsenal player again. The wounds from Henry’s departure still hadn’t fully healed, despite the divorce happening five years prior. I was also trying to black Cesc Fabregas out of my mind. To lose a second captain inside one […]
If ever a 24 hours summed up Arsenal Football Club in 2018, it’s this last set. From the utter despair of yet another Premier League away day – complete with comedic howler – Wednesday has seen us sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and tie down Mesut Ozil before lunchtime. In truth, I’m not sure how to […]
Life under Wenger in 2018 – A pointless rhyme From ridiculous to sublime always they say This year the latter more often the way Motivating his players for the big ones still seems okay Other matches who knows which team will turn up on the day The defensive organisation a shambles, zonal so old […]
Swansea 3-1 Arsenal Being a Gooner has some terribly wild ups and downs. There was the low of us messing up, potentially, the PEA deal. Then we’ve got him. And now we lose to Swansea. Granted, Liverpool lost to them, but they won tonight and we needed this win to get top four. But what’s […]
With the long awaited and much anticipated news that Pierre Eric Aubameyang is on his way, barring any last minute hitches, to North London we have asked our regular Gunners Town writers and contributors to consider how he will fit in. Where does PEA’s arrival potentially leave or previous record signing. Alexandre Lacazette and how […]

At the age of 34 years and 14 months old I’ve seen some superb footballers play for Arsenal throughout my time supporting the club. The list goes on forever with players like Henry, Wright, Bergkamp, Pires, Adams, Parlour, Stepanovs, Helder, Sanogo etc. Like the grime/rap group BBK say ‘There’s Too Many Man’. So many […]
It is understandable, that as an Arsenal fan base, we are excited by and wrapped up in the Aubameyang story. The Gabon international has been one of the most potent strikers in the last few years in one of Europe’s top leagues and it would undoubtedly be exciting to see if he could repeat his […]
League Cup.. Hypocrisy or not?? Well, we’re in the League Cup final, vs. City no less. I genuinely believe we can win this, since we can beat anybody on our day. Last season’s FA Cup win proved this in fine style. Nonetheless, despite us being the better team over two legs vs. Chelsea, should we […]
