A banter era line up winning us a game 5-0, yes that is the reality of supporting the Arsenal in 2017 and how happy we all are that this is the case. Three double-barrelled young guns in the midfield slots combined with two returning heroes on the wings and an oft forgotten/neglected Spaniard in the […]
What follows below is a considered response (a comment on the site) from American Gooner @scrivs to Clive Palmer’s considered article on his journey with Aaron Ramsey, published here on Friday. Clive and Scrivs interact regularly on Twitter and the response was so good that we asked if we could use his comment as an […]
I have been quiet in recent weeks because frankly, it is hard to find anything new to say about Arsenal. We are roughly in the same position at this stage of the season that we always are. In the top four, challenging weakly to win the Premiership whilst having to keep an eye out for […]
When Arsenal’s squad was announced I had only one thing to say: this is either a masterstroke and we’ll win convincingly, or it’s a huge mistake and we’ll screw up completely. (That is 2 things 🙂 )There was reason enough to worry: Arsene made 10 changes to the side which narrowly beaten Burnley on Sunday, […]
Howdy. We face Southampton in 4th round of the FA Cup today and will be looking to secure passage to round 5 for the 17th time in 21 years. Southampton have become something of a bogey team for us. We have only managed to beat the Saints four times from 11 attempts since their promotion […]
Arsenal and Bayern Munich will once again lock horns in the first knockout rounds of the Champions League. The sides have met three times in the round of 16 with the Gunners losing each time, putting huge pressure on Arsene Wenger and his men to end their struggles against the German giants. The Gunners have […]
Aaron Ramsey – World Class or Bang Average? Aaron Ramsey – The most interesting player to review at Arsenal for me. I know it’s dangerous to go online and give your analysis of a player so what I am going to try to articulate is my journey with Aaron Ramsey. How my feelings have changed, […]
After two successive FA Cups in 2014 and 2015, Arsene Wenger became the manager who had won the famous old trophy the most. For me this was hugely gratifying after a long period of him deciding to disrespect the world’s oldest football knockout competition. I could just about handle Arsenal using the League Cup to […]
Hector Bellerin, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chuba Akpom and Arsenal Ladies and England forward Danielle Carter have taken part in a cookery challenge, in aid of Heart4More Foundation’s healthy eating campaign. By only using fresh ingredients designed to keep the heart healthy, the quartet used all of their culinary knowledge to cook up a storm. Heart 4 More is […]

Don’t get me wrong. Anything that Wenger does that isn’t sitting on the sideline, furrowed brow, all forlorn… …or impersonating a sleeping bag struggling to (un)zip itself… …is fine by moi. Getting in the face of the sh*t-lipped (why else would he be permanently sneering?) Mourinho… or venting his ire on inanimate objects… – these little […]
