Coincidence or Curse? How Arsenal have failed when they abandoned Yellow.

It’s not Antiquated Arsene, it’s not Short-armed Stan, it’s the Kit !!!!!!!

Since moving to The Emirates, we have not had the success that we were promised or expected. The majority of fans lay the blame for this at the door of Arsene. the owner and the board.

But……

I actually believe that they are not to blame and it is wholly down to the choice of second kit for each season in question.

You might say, this can’t be the case, but that stats don’t lie and here’s the proof:

2006/2007

Trophies: None, League Cup runners up

Second Kit: Yellow

2007/2008

Trophies: None

Second Kit: White

2008/2009

Trophies: None, Champions League semi finalists

Second Kit: Yellow

2009/2010

Trophies: None

Second Kit: Blue

2010/2011

Trophies: None, League Cup runners up

Second Kit: Yellow

2011/2012

Trophies: None

Second Kit: Blue

2012/2013

Trophies: None

Second Kit: Purple Pain

2013/2014

Trophies: FA Cup Winners

Second Kit: Yellow

2014/2015

Trophies: FA Cup Winners

Second Kit: Yellow

2015/2016

Trophies: None, Premier League runners up

Second Kit: Yellow

2016/2017

Trophies: FA Cup Winners

Second Kit: Yellow

Blurgh2017/2018

Trophies: Probably None

Second Kit: Blurgh

So there you have it.

It’s not Wenger

It’s not the board

Conclusive proof that Arsenal’s failings at the Emirates are down to non-Yellow Away Kits.

But you knew that, didn’t you? 😉

Interesting! You know, Steve, it’s easy to dismiss your view as mere superstition, but I’m afraid there is some sense in it! Especially this season; each time Arsenal have appeared in that kit, they have been awful! So let’s not wear it again, no matter what Puma think.
